HERO
HERO has an online student portfolio and reporting tool, which gives parents easy access to their child’s learning, via an individual account. The account is specific to you and your child/ren and is connected to the email address that is on file at school. Parents can either share access to an account, or have one each, depending on their preference, as long as the email address you are using is in our system. One account will provide you with access to the learning information for all your children who are enrolled at Tairua School.
We believe that a strong home-school partnership is vital in supporting our students to achieve their very best. HERO is designed to strengthen this partnership by providing students and parents with more regular, relevant, and up to date learning information, via an easy-access, secure, online platform.
Viewing your Accounts
The finance section of Hero is open for viewing of accounts. A feature of Hero is that you may now pay by credit/debit card via the Hero app. There is a small fee for this convenience, or you are welcome to pay by direct debit or by coming into the office to pay by EFTPOS. If you wish to pay online or set up an automatic payment, our account number is: 02-0456-0037346-000.
The Board has opted to keep Tairua School a cashless school permanently, so the only payments accepted at the office is by EFTPOS (no credit cards). Please don’t hesitate to contact the school office on office@tairua.school.nz if you have any questions or queries about your school account.
